A successful employee network requires more than a strong start. To thrive over time, it needs continued care, inclusive leadership, and a clear sense of purpose. When networks are supported and aligned with organisational goals, they can make a lasting impact on employee experience, policy, and culture.
This module is part two of a two-part series on employee networks. While the first module focused on establishing a network, this session explores how to sustain and grow it. From developing leadership skills to measuring impact, this course provides practical tools to help networks remain effective and relevant.
The course is designed for DEI and HR professionals, as well as anyone involved in supporting or leading employee networks, including network chairs and senior sponsors. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete.

By the end of this module, participants will be able to:
- Identify key skills required for successful network chairs.
- Create inclusive and intersectional networks that foster collaboration.
- Recognise common risks and challenges for employee networks, and apply strategies to overcome them.
- Develop effective succession plans to ensure continuity and future leadership.
- Implement meaningful reward and recognition practices to sustain engagement and motivation.
- Measure the impact of network activities and embed continuous improvement practices.
