Our Disability Awareness for People Managers e-learning is designed to enhance understanding of disability inclusion and equip people managers with the knowledge and tools needed to create an accessible and supportive work environment.

This e-learning has been designed for people managers and will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. 

Learning Objectives:

By the end of our Disability Awareness for People Managers module, you will be able to:

  • Understand what disability means and recognise the diversity of disability experiences.
  • Gain insight into key UK legislation relating to disability rights, including the Equality Act 2010.
  • Identify common barriers faced by disabled employees and how these barriers impact workplace experiences.
  • Learn about reasonable adjustments and how to implement appropriate support measures.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with disabled colleagues.
  • Foster a workplace culture that values inclusivity and the contributions of disabled employees.
