Gill Cooke

Gill Cooke is an award-winning Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) change-maker and thought leader with a background in IT programme management and television production. Gill has experience in delivering complex, cross-geography, and cross-functional EDI Strategies and programmes, including zero tolerance, fertility leave, menopause support, and hybrid and flexible working. Gill was named one of 133 Women Changemakers in 2023 by Diversio, is a Tech100Women Winner, and has been a volunteer UK delegate for UN Women in 2023 and 2024. She has recently been nominated for a Rising Star award within Diversity and Inclusion. Gill uses her coaching skills and storytelling to facilitate and engage her audience in training sessions. 

Gill has diverse life-experience having spent most of her childhood in Sudan, she has worked in Egypt and France and studied Arabic and Islam at the School of Oriental and African Studies. She actively seeks collaboration and consultation with individuals with lived experiences to ensure authenticity and depth in her work.
