enei Disability Lead

Full Time Salary: c.£38,000 to 42,000pa

One Year Fixed Term Contract

Possible permanent role after 12 months.

enei Members are leading the change on diversity and inclusion and we are looking for someone to support them with their disability agendas.

The Disability Lead is a brand new role for enei and will required a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who can grow enei’s Disability proposition for Members and influence the external agenda.  The future of the role and its success depends on the individual who, as the subject matter expert, will have a great deal of autonomy to shape the agenda and ensure its future sustainability.

Responsibilities will include:

  1. Develop the ‘Ability’ groups across the UK and support individual groups.
  2. Develop and update Employer Guides across a range of disability related topics.
  3. Create and deliver conferences, webinars, workshops, masterclasses, in-house/bespoke training and mental health training, securing sponsorship and Associate support where required.
  4. Assist and advise in creation, delivery and sales of the enei Disability Benchmark and related Employer Guides
  5. Manage social media, external presentations and speaking engagements related to Disability both in the Workplace and in the provision of Goods & Services.
  6. Maintain the internal system of Member/client information and opportunities in Salesforce, in particular, Disability Audits.
  7. Support the Member Engagement Managers and training team in Disability-related queries.
  8. Finding out about the industry of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion to understand the challenges Members/clients face and provide best practice advice and support.
  9. Work with external stakeholders to further the agenda.
  10. Identify opportunities for Case Studies.
  11. Review and evaluate the outcomes of goods and services delivered.

We are looking for someone who has excellent knowledge of all aspects of disability both in employment and ideally, in the provision of goods & services. You will be able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and have experience of communicating with members or clients as required. You will also be comfortable working with financial targets and selling products and services.
