Denise Keating, Chief Executive 

Denise KeatingDenise is responsible for leading the strategy, running the membership operation, determining key campaigns and developing our relationship with Government and the media.

Denise joined the Employers Forum on Age in May 09 and brought with her a wealth of experience in diversity plus significant commercial experience across a number of sectors.  Initially involved in creating the Employers Forum on Age in 1994 with a launch in 1996, she was a Board Director/Trustee since 2002 and became Chief Executive in 2009.

Previously, at BGL Group, Denise realigned HR and Communications to focus on delivering efficient services that improved business performance.  As a Board Director for Craegmoor Healthcare, Denise was their HR, Communications IT & Clinical Governance Director. Prior to this, she was Head of People Proposition for Marks & Spencer and Head of Corporate HR for Nationwide Building Society, where she worked on change programmes that positioned both organisations as employers of choice.

Dan Robertson, Diversity & Inclusion Director

Dan Robertson

Dan is responsible for working with the CEO to develop the organisation’s membership engagement strategy, supporting our member’s diversity agenda through our training and consultancy services and working with the business community to promote and share good practice.

Dan has a solid 12 year track record of working across public and private sector organisations in the field of Diversity and Inclusion Management. Before joining enei, Dan worked as a Senior Consultant for a national diversity specialist consultancy firm, where he supported a range of national organisations on their diversity and inclusion programmes. Dan also led on the design of ILM accreditation programmes and a Diversity in Business Accreditation standard.

Alan Beazley, Advice, Policy & Research Specialist

Alan BeazleyAlan offers expert advice to our Members on interpreting the law and delivering best practice policies. Alan is also responsible for developing policy responses and our relationship with stakeholders on technical issues.

He has extensive experience as a human resources professional in financial services, manufacturing and consultancy. Between 1994 and 2001 he held a number of senior roles in HR within the Credit Suisse group and previously within the European HR team at Merrill Lynch.

Becky is a member engagement manager at enei, working with over 70 organisations to develop their diversity and inclusion plans, and leads enei’s agenda on disability.   Prior to joining enei, Becky ran her own business following a career which encompassed Head of HR positions at BAA, Royal Bank of Scotland, TK Maxx and Spirit Pub Company and Vice President – HR (UK & Europe) at AIG.

Becky has over thirty years of experience across the HR agenda and now complements enei’s team with her extensive understanding of the corporate world.  With a fun, straight talking and humorous approach, Becky’s commercial knowledge and experience enables her to engage D&I sceptics, balancing the development of inclusive working practices with commercial priorities.

Becky is co-chair of WharfAbility and deputy chair of MidlandsAbility, networks that bring together employers and help them recruit and retain those with disabilities.
WharfAbility was founded in 2012 by a group of individuals involved with the disability and carer agenda within major firms in Canary Wharf. Their mission is to connect businesses and colleagues to share experiences and ideas, enabling them to increase their impact in the work place.

Peter Hall, Member Engagement Manager  Phot of Peter Hall

Peter is responsible for engaging and sustaining positive relationships with members or the purpose of ensuring their continued support for enei’s strategy, benchmarking, campaigns and networking events.  Peter is also responsible for helping to develop, deliver and promote enei’s training and consultancy to both existing and non-members.

Peter has over 15 years’ experience of developing, monitoring and reviewing strategies to embed compliance and deliver diversity and equality best practice primarily across Central and Local  Government Departments and agencies. Before joining enei, Peter was Senior Equalities Advisor for a local authority which was recognised as Council of the year in 2012.

Peter has extensive experience of building strong, positive relationships with business and community leads.  Building and sustaining these relationships has helped to sustain and enhance the reputation of organisations Peter has worked in, by helping them to been seen as inclusive and an employer of choice.   

Maxine Hurley, Member Engagement Manager

Maxine is responsible for engaging and sustaining positive relationships with members for the purpose of ensuring their continued support for enei’s strategy, benchmarking, campaigns and networking events. 

Prior to joining enei Maxine successfully delivered equalities solutions for the Royal College of Nursing where she worked on several initiatives, most notably a Dignity At Work programme that helped position the organisation as an employer of choice. With over 10 years’ experience as an Equalities Specialist, a skilled Facilitator and International Trainer; Maxine was honoured by the Health Service Journal in their inaugural top 100 BME Pioneers in healthcare list. 

Kieron O'Reilly Member Engagement Manager

Kieron OReilly

Kieron is member engagement manager responsible for our members in a range of sectors, he also leads on enei’s agenda on gender equality and apprenticeships.

Kieron began his career in talent acquisition and management in 1999 working within the financial and professional sectors as well as within public health.  

His specialist expertise lies in the design and implementation of practical work based programmes that address the issues causing underrepresentation of talent groups within the wider work force.  

Kieron is an excellent communicator and works to draw together cost effective solutions that drive productivity. Experienced in carrying out diversity audits he also has project management experience delivering inclusion strategies dealing with cultural, systemic and process change designed to provide benefit to whole organisations, their teams of staff, individual employees and the communities they operate in.

Joan Stuart Member Engagement Manager

Joan Stuart

Joan is a Member Engagement Manager responsible for supporting member organisations within Scotland with their diversity and inclusion agendas. 

Joan has over 25 years’ Human Resources experience -  both as a generalist and as an employee relations specialist.  She commenced her career in the retail sector with Thornton’s in an operational role and then moved to an HR role in the National Health Service.   More recently Joan was at ScottishPower, where she held number of operational and strategic Human Resources roles.  Latterly she has led the Diversity and Inclusion strategy for ScottishPower, translating this into practical and workable solutions for the workplace.

Actively involved in the community Joan has held Board positions with several charitable organisations.  A commercially focused and pragmatic individual, she is driven to help companies find tailored solutions to meet their diversity and inclusion needs.

Flora Alphonse, Training & Consultancy Manager

Flora AlphonseFlora supports enei in expanding the scope of its work in training and consultancy.

Flora is a trained facilitator, coach and presenter and her recent role as People Development for a Global Supply Chain business has enhanced those skills as well as her skills in the design of development programmes and first line management and executive level coaching. Prior to that, Flora worked for the Department for Work and Pensions for over 20 years. Her various roles included Benefits, Performance and Training Manager across the benefits agenda. More recently, Flora supported the DWP Lean programme as a Lean consultant for the Southern Region. Building and sustaining the Lean Practitioner capability and promoting the Lean ethos across the region.

Flora is an Associate CIPD member specialising in Learning and Development and will use her strong demonstrable skills in people engagement to support the enei Training and Consultancy team.

Alaba Okuyiga, Training & Consultancy Manager

Photo of AlabaAlaba supports enei in expanding the scope of its work in training and consultancy.

Prior to enei, Alaba Okuyiga has almost 15 years public and commercial grounding in diversity & inclusion as a training consultant. He brings a varied work background as a college lecturer, NHS Foundation Trust non Exec Director, Home Secretary’s representative on a Police Authority and older adult psychology care specialist.

 

Anne-Marie Senior, Training & Consultancy Manager


Anne-Marie has been working in the Diversity and Inclusion field for nearly 20 years both in public and private sector organisations. She has designed and delivered a range of innovative training and consultancy interventions with particular expertise in diversity & inclusion, unconscious bias and equality analysis.

Other areas of expertise include leadership and team development and change management. She has worked with key stakeholders within organisations to develop new and interesting approaches to the ongoing development of talent in the diversity and inclusion field enabling them to deliver excellent services to their customers.

Some examples of her work include working with a mental health trust to design and deliver a management development programme; delivering an equality impact assessment for a large police force and working in partnership with the SMT within a Housing Association to deliver effective and efficient services to their customers. Anne-Marie’s other interests include being a Trustee Board member of two Hertfordshire-based charities.

Dawn Lewinson, Associate Consultant 

Dawn Lewinson

Dawn has been delivering equality and diversity training for managers and team leaders for many years in both the public and private sector.  She brings a wealth of experience in helping managers think creatively and pragmatically about leveraging diversity to deliver performance and focuses on the day-to-day aspects of managing performance and delivering service. Her engaging and consultative style, as well as her wealth of good practice examples, mean that delegates always leave with real strategies for supporting performance and deliverable action plans for improving their services. She designs, delivers and facilitates training/workshops/webinars for senior managers and team leaders as well as critical front line personnel across the UK and Europe.

She provides consultation services for organisations and leadership teams, reviews policies and procedures within organisations and designs E-learning materials.

She has worked with the Top 200 managers of a National Health Care Agency, management teams in a number of Local Authorities and Housing Associations as well as with several large private sector clients in the banking, legal and property sectors. She has ten years coaching experience and over fifteen years lecturing experience in further and higher education, working mainly as a lecturer in law, business studies and, more recently, in teacher training.

Magali Merindol, Head of Marketing & Communications

Magali Merindol photoMagali leads the marketing and communications activity for enei, working closely with the Chief Executive and the team to promote equality and inclusion in the workplace.

She has over a decade of experience working with international associations across technology, transport and general business.

Before joining enei, she established the Marketing & Events department of DIGITALEUROPE in 2009, the association for the digital technology industry in Europe. Her responsibilities included the design and implementation of political communications & marketing plans, the production of programmes for events and all external and internal communications.

Magali previously worked as Communications Manager at UNIFE, the Association of European Rail Industry where she was in charge of communication activities and membership recruitment.

Ben Budd, Communications and PR Executive

Ben is responsible for enei’s Public Relations, Marketing & Social Media.  Before joining enei Ben worked as a Team Leader in the John Lewis Partnership responsible for merchandising stock, coaching and training staff and managing day to day operations.

 

 

 

Vicky Keating, Office Manager

Vicky manages the enei office and is responsible for Marketing, Membership, Accounts, Office and HR administration. She also organises enei’s three main events which includes the March Annual Conference based on a thought leadership topic, the enei Parliamentary Reception which facilitates Member networking and enei’s Prestigious Awards where best practice is recognised and celebrated.

 She has a CIPD Certificate in HR Practice, 4 A Levels and is  trained in Adobe Creative Suite 6. Vicky’s previous roles were Retail and Goods Distribution where she provided customer service and administrative support.

Sarah Carey, Team Administrator

Sarah's PhotoBefore taking a career break to have a family Sarah worked for Bank of America Merril Lynch for 10 years.  After completing their Management Internship programme she took the role of Strategic Partner Relationship Manager and worked with Virgin Money, Abbey (Santander) and Alliance and Leicester. This position involved delivering the marketing plan for both acquisition and customer marketing, whilst building partnerships and managing contractual commitments.

 

Daniel Edwards, Business Administrator

Daniel Edwards PhotoDaniel joined enei on 15th August 2016. Daniel is enei’s first apprentice. He is responsible for making diary appointments, assisting in recruitment, answering the phones, filing, events and other administrative duties. Previously Daniel had studied Level 3 Sports at college for 2 years where he decided to take his career in a different direction. Daniel has always had a passion for football which he currently still does as a hobby. Daniel is now studying for a Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration and a CIPD certificate in HR practice.
