Building a deeper understanding of disability

This week the Government published a new report, "Fulfilling Potential: Building a deeper understanding of disability in the UK today”, aimed at:
· providing an analysis of the current evidence on disability in the UK to inform the development of actions, outcomes and indicators
· informing public understanding and prompt debate about disability and the issues faced by disabled people
· raising awareness, driving a change in attitudes and supporting an increase in commitment to improving the lives of disabled people
The report contains a wealth of material on disability and employment, and the slidedeck is particularly useful for summary data.
