Only 31% Of Higher Rate Tax Payers Under 30 Are Women

New research conducted by legal firm Clyde & Co has found that women are significantly underrepresented among the UK's top earners from the beginning of their careers. Despite the average pay gap for under 30s being in women's favour, men dominate the highest earners, with only 31% of under 30s paying the higher rate of tax (i.e. those earning over £43,000 per annum) being female.
