MPs Warn Government Is Failing To Tackle Structural Gender Pay Gap Causes

The Women and Equalities Committee has slammed the UK Government for ignoring its recommendations. The Government's reponse to the committees report acknowledged that issues such as the higher proportion of women in part time roles and unequal caring responsibilities contributed to the Gender Pay Gap, but it said that current measures around flexible working and shared parental leave were adequate.
