Two Thirds Of Older Workers Feel Discriminated Against By Recruiters

New research from totaljobs.com has found that 63% of 55 to 64 year olds feel that they have been discriminated against because of their age. Furthermore, 82% of 55 to 64 year olds feel that their age is a disadvantage in the job market. This is much higher than younger age groups, with workers aged from 16 to 24 (33%), 25 to 34 (21%) and 35 to 44 (22%) far less likely to have felt discriminated against when applying for jobs.
