EY Report Warns Of Regionalised Youth Unemployment
30 August 2016
A new report from EY and the EY Foundation has warned that 'inclusive growth' is being held back in the UK due to localised spikes in youth unemployment. The report found that youth unemployment in Bradford, Middlesborough, Swansea and Wolverhampton is currently over 25%. The report also identified huge differences between sectors, with the construction, manufacturing and transport sectors employing at least 25% fewer young people than in 2004.
